Costco Wholesale Corporation Reports July Sales Results

ISSAQUAH, Wash., Aug. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Costco Wholesale Corporation (“Costco” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: COST) today reported net sales of $10.59 billion for the retail month of July, the four weeks ended August 5, 2018, an increase of 10.1 percent from $9.62 billion last year. For the first forty-eight weeks of fiscal 2018, the Company reported net sales of $127.40 billion, an increase of 12.1 percent from $113.70 billion last year.

Comparable sales were as follows:
